This position contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by executing the supply planning process within a defined network. This person develops production, deployment and ordering plans to ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for avoiding Out of Stocks, negotiating line time and priority on US assets.
- Monitor and reduce OOD risks.
- Analyze data; put forth recommendation on product allocation based on customer level performance to anticipated demand.
- Lead and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate and align with broader Supply Team on Product Innovation.
- Lead innovation execution preparedness with cross-functions and production facilities.
- Creates weekly production and deployment plans for PFR (Purchase for Resale) product sourced out of the US.
- Develop and execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities to support production plans.
- Ensure the timely and cost effective availability of quality ingredients and package material to support production plans.
- Site engagement.
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Previous Operations or Logistics experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree is required- Engineering, Transportations and Logistics or Management Science major are preferred.
- Solid understanding of Customer Service Programs and Plant / DC / Transportation Operations.
- Ability to engage at all levels of internal and external partners.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
- Process improvement oriented business/problem solving approach.
- Strong problem solving skills and customer service knowledge with the ability to build operational capability within the function.
- Strong project management, prioritization and organizational skills
- Demonstrated collaboration and comminication skills, both one on one and large group setting.
- Strong leadership skills, including influence, building talent and and change management experience.
