The Receptionist contributes to The PepsiCo Beverages Company's success by attending to visitors and dealing with inquiries on the phone and face to face. General administrative duties and bill processing are important functions of this role as well as providing superior customer service, for the internal and external guest. The successful candidate is detail orientated and portrays a professional demeanor. This position requires a great deal of interaction; exceptional interpersonal skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities include:






  • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls

  • Take and relay messages

  • Provide information to callers

  • Greet persons entering the organization

  • Direct persons to correct destination

  • Deal with queries from the public and customers

  • Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization

  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness

  • Process bill payments

  • Process FSV letters and prepare letters

  • General administrative duties

  • Maintain telephone lists

  • Ad-hoc administrative support as required

  • Tidy and maintain the reception area




Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:





  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

  • Keyboard skills

  • Verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional personal presentation

  • Customer service orientation

  • Attention to detail

  • Willingness to take initiative

  • Reliable

  • Stress tolerance

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make informed decisions

  • Ability to think proactively, demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
