The Retail environment is changing as the shopper has more choice and information along the path to purchase and as customers are looking for differentiation as they seek new growth solutions to drive loyalty, traffic, and basket size.

As the Shopper Marketing Manager your mandate is to drive growth by leading PepsiCo Beverages Canada's shopper marketing agenda, driving differentiation with our biggest Grocery and Mass Customers. You will lead the development of a full year calendar of shopper centric programs working closely with both brand and in-store marketing teams as well as shopper insights as you lead customer specific programs and tailor national programs - all designed to meet the needs of your shoppers.

You will gain critical experiences working on billion dollar brands at Canada's largest retailers to engage key cohorts along the path to purchase which will require different strategies and tactics to deliver breakthrough results.

Job Description

· Lead Large Format Shopper Marketing Programming - uncovering the core shopper insights, setting objectives, creating the strategy, developing & executing the plan, and measuring the success through postgame and business reviews

· Drive both Portfolio programming around key consumer occasions as well as core brand activation around leading brands like Pepsi, Tropicana, Gatorade

· Partner with Shopper insights to develop holistic learning agenda for your customers and develop shopper centric selling story

· Lead the 2014 Shopper Marketing Annual Operating Plan and Growth Summits for your key Customers

· Develop ongoing relationship with Customer's marketing team aligning to full year planning agenda

· Elevate shopper marketing both pre-shop and post-shop; and continue to test innovative tactics to drive engagement

· Building talent - manage 1 direct report - Assistant Shopper Marketing Manager



Qualifications



  • Must haveminimum 4 years previousmarketing experience, Shopper/ in-store/retail preferred

  • Previous CPG experience preferred

  • Worked on high engagement marketing initiatives/programs & portfolio solutions - driving positive results and changing consumer/shopper behaviour

  • Strong Leadership and Collaboration skills

  • Ability to flex leadership style managing multiple stakeholders

  • Strong talent development an asset

  • Solid strategic thinking and execution skills

  • Strong analytical skills to understand key business levers and harness insights to identify growth opportunities and deliver strong ROI

  • Strong and effective communication skills

  • Project management, Prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of development
