Finance Analyst - Bilingual (Mississauga, Ontario, Canada)

This is a one year contract position



The Customer Development Accounts (CDA) Analyst contributes to The PepsiCo Beverage Canada success by maintaining responsibility for all aspects foodservice and retail customer development accounts, contract maintenance, budget reporting, rebate payments, FFP, Maxtrac marketing and general ledger coding.

Key Responsibilities include:



  • Review and approve contract setup in FFP and in some cases compare to Prosper

  • Review and approve payments in our FFP (Forecasting and Funding) contracts and payments in a timely manner

  • Responsible for reconciling several reconciliations on a periodic basis

  • Ensure all Marketing payments are recorded to the proper general ledger and Maxtrac account

  • Ensuring CDA reconciliations are reconciled and recorded correctly between FFP vs. GL reports

  • Provide periodic updates on spending commitments to field/KAM/NAM's as required

  • Attend balance sheet review on a quarterly basis with reconciliations

  • Establish and maintain an up to date database of all local food service and retail account contracts

  • Control all required NSS CDA/Marketing Maxtrac account numbers and maintain solid knowledge of the PBC revenue cycle

  • Give ongoing assistance to the field/KAM/NAM's to all rebate budget owners regarding policies, procedures and training

  • Review all cheque requests under GCS policies

  • Review all CDA payment requests against contractual/BAM commitments

  • Initiate local/national customer non-performance based CDA payments as per contract specifications




Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:



  • Bilingual ( French/English)

  • Reconciliation skill required

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting

  • 3 years of relevant business experience an asset

  • Strong verbal and written skills ( Both English and French)

  • Working knowledge of Excel and Access

  • Strong organizational, detail oriented and decision making skills

  • Ability to act with integrity and in a professional manner

  • Ability to work well under pressure
