The Food Service Planning Analyst assists in achieving the division's goals by providing on-going reporting and analytical support to the Food Service team.
This role has a great deal of exposure to the broader organization and works closely with Food Service marketing, finance, and sales. The skills developed in this role are a terrific foundation for career progression in any of the aforementioned areas.
Ø Support entire Food Service organization, including senior leadership
Ø Lead or assist in data gathering, analysis, and recommendation development for org. initiatives
Ø Complete analyses on performance, identifying drivers, drags, and opportunities
Ø Leverage technical competency to act as a SME and develop creative, sustainable solutions
Ø Constant evaluation of workflow for the purposes or process creation and re-engineering
Ø Build the annual operating plan for 50+ key accounts and lead in the creation of forecasting models
Ø Manage revenue recognition and representation for a $50MM business
Ø Manage and coach one direct report
- Master of Business Administration preferred
- Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing, Finance) is required.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel (complex functions, VBA) and enterprise reporting systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem solving and analytical orientation with a "questioning attitude"
- Ability to identify insights and linkthem to the overall business strategy.
- The ideal candidate would be someone looking to pursue a career in Sales Strategy, or Catagory Management.
