This exciting role is responsible for supporting the total beverage portfolio within the FoodService Channel.
The Assistant Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing Manager on total beverage portfolio. This position will participate in the development of consumer focused strategies and marketing plans, aide in the development of total beverage AOP and will lead the execution of the annual marketing plans to achieve both short and long term financial and strategic objectives.
Key Accountabilities
· Support marketing manager in development of total business strategy for beverage integrating consumer and customer needs in the FS channel to deliver against short and long-term growth opportunities; including Business Reviews, Strategic Plans and Annual Operating Plans
· Support plans that will unlock growth by delivering new and incremental On The Go beverage occasions in FoodService Channels for PBC, focused on Breakfast, Lunch, and PM Snacking
· Effectively support strong execution against category channel plans to meet key business targets (gross sales, distribution, etc)
· Lead FS specific innovation through Business Planning & Innovation Council Process and support with sales rollout tools.
· Coordinate the activity of internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of marketing programs and plans
· Develop and deliver big bet scorecards that monitor performance of assigned and competitive brands to proactively recommend course corrections where necessary
· Ensure strong communication and ingratiation with FS and beverage marketing teams
Qualifications
- University degree in Commerce (Marketing)
- Self starter with strong ownership, able to work independently on projects
- Solid organizational and project management skills - able to establish priorities, strong detailed execution and ability to multi-task
- Ability to lead/influence cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills, able to synthesize information to develop understanding and insights
- A combination of beverage and CPG marketing experience considered an asset
