The Human Resources and Labour Relations Coordinator contributes to PepsiCo Beverages Canada's success by executing Human Resources and Labour Relations initiatives with a high degree of employee advocacy combined with an HR business partner approach. Reporting to the Human Resources Director and supporting the Sr Director of Labour Relations, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide day-to-day HR support to employees as well as Coordinate the National Labour Relations Calendar. The ideal candidate is a recent Graduate from a Human Resources program who is technically sound and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills. The position is based in Mississauga, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Primary contact & support for day to day Human Resources inquiries
- Act as SAP/HR system support for Employees and Managers as required
- Liaison through pay/benefits issue resolutions
- Support the Labour Relations team by conducting research, coordinating Negotiations and supporting positive employee relations strategies/processes
- Manage the National Labour Relations Calendar
- Conduct National HR Core Process projects and HR analytics
Additional HR support including:
· Support HR team with special projects
· Coordinate Interviews for team and/or business leaders
· Onboarding Program - dist. & track survey completion, produce HR and National scorecards on period basis
· Manage Reward & Recognition Program
· Event management
Support Campus Intern and New Grad Recruiting program
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business or Human Resources
- Post Diploma HR Certificate or Master of Industrial Relations an asset
- Minimum of 1 year of experience (or 2 Co-op terms) in Employee and/or Labour Relations, preferably in a Unionized setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and coaching skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills in a constantly changing, dynamic environment
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
