Position Summary :
The Finance Associate Analystis responsible for the financial management of the PBC Gatorade businesses.The position provides forecasting, period end reporting, financial analysis, business performance reviews, annual plan, and business initiatives management for the Gatorade Brand. The role works with PBC cross functional partners, Finance, Sales Strategy, Marketing, Supply Chain and Accounting to deliver annual business plans.
Key Responsibilities :
· Manage the financial planning and reporting process for the PBC Gatorade (Warehouse system) including period end reporting, forecasting (period and quarterly) and annual planning.
· Manage insightful and actionable period end financials report outs vs Forecast, AOP and Prior Year.
· Understand financial drivers of the various segments of the Gatorade business (Large Format, DSD and FOBO) to forecast quarters and balance of year financial outlooks.
· Understand Total Gatorade System profitability for Brand reporting
· Brand Finance/Accolade responsibility for new innovation financials and global accolade reporting
· New product volume forecasting
· Develop standard scorecards linking key sales and operational KPI performance to financial results.
· Manage the risk and opportunities to Forecast / AOP with team inputs.
· Partner with Sales Strategy, Customer Finance teams, Supply Chain teams to communicate Forecast course corrections to achieve pd/qtrly forecasts and AOP commitments.
· Develop AOP process for Gatorade Warehouse including sales and cost builds.
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities :
- Bachelor Degree in Business/Finance or related discipline - CA/CMA designation or MBA preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
-Previous financial analysis experience preferred (Co-op terms or 1 - 2 yrs.) - Strong analytical, problem solving and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively cross functional finance teams
- Financial analytical and system skills (i.e. Essbase & Business Objects) an asset
