Position:
The Demand Planner contributes to PepsiCo Beverages Canada's success by developing accurate Sales Forecasts leveraging data and statistical models to guide the decision making process with respect to the Sales Demand Forecast for their assigned Region in consultation with the Customer Development Team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Generates weekly product forecasts
- Utilizes demand planning exception reports to identify and fix potential issues
- Collects Error Root Cause data to bridge gaps between forecast and actuals Collects promotional information from Sales Strategy, Marketing, and Key Account Sales promotional calendars and planners
- Inputs historical retail price and exceptions into the Prevail system
- Adjusts forecasts as necessary to include local market intelligence
- Prepares the weekly demand planning call agenda and send out forecast reports for review
- Leads weekly Demand and Sales volume validation conference calls
- Assists the Demand Manager in other tasks related to improving the overall demand forecast
- Performs master data maintenance to maintain accurate product and customer information
- Performs Prevail data maintenance to improve forecast accuracy
- Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Supply Chain or Statistics preferred
- Bilingual French/English is required
- Demsontrated experience using Regression Analysis
- Superior analytical skills
- Leadership experience is an asset High proficiency with MS Office productsspecifically Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Sales and/or Operations experience an asset
- Demontrated ability to influence cross functional and more senior stakeholders
- Past experience performing Demand and
Supply planning and scheduling an asset
