KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Procurement
· Lead finance contact for Global Procurement and Canadian Purchasing relating to pricing inputs and volumes for raw materials and packaging (for Frito Lay Canada and Quaker Foods & Snacks)
· Provide Analytics and Insights on the commodity market and our ownership status on key raw material and energy purchases
· Lead Strategic Planning, AOP, and period forecasting for purchasing, including inflation analysis, standard setting, cost and variance analysis, YOY, risk/opps, etc?
· AOP - translating volume into raw material volume requirements, standard setting, Impromptu and MFGpro maintenance and data loading, cost and variance analysis, price/volume and contract coverage, risk & opps and presentation/ communication
· Forecasting - assess BOY volume changes, rate changes, fx impact, US production volume/variances, period variances, VIA adjustments and productivity
· Period end - manage Purchase Price Variance-related account analysis and period close reporting both in Canada/US (eg. Usage, supplier specific, YOY, forecast, roll up of all purchasing, including PFR, energy, fuel? etc.)
· Productivity - participates in project assessments, tracking, incorporate into forecasts/AOP
· Business strategy integration with BU Finance to assess purchasing outlook by brand, Strat/innovation assumptions and impact on Profit
· Purchasing link to innovation planning through Finance Manager SC Innovation
· Partner with the purchasing team to own the PLC purchasing forecast. Development of tools and process to improve forecast accuracy and identify areas of opportunity in commodities.
· Maintain tools to understand impact of Foreign exchange on the PFC P&L's and work with the purchasing team to implement actions to strategically mitigate FX risk
· Adhoc project work - supporting value engineering initiatives and purchasing compressible cost saving opportunities
Capital Expenditures
· Manage Capital Budget for Frito Lay Canada and Quaker Foods & Snacks - co-ordinate with the Division Engineering and Canadian Ops LT's.
· Responsible for the management of capital spend budget, tracking of spend, forecasting, and P&L impact of capital decisions. Work with the Division engineering to team to analyze the economics of key projects and recommendations to the Capex committee.
· Prepare, review, and provide depreciation forecasts for AOP, forecast, and & Strategic Plan
· Coordinate communication delivery to key stakeholders regarding capital budgets and spending, and major projects' progress and milestones
· Prepare, review, and analyze period Fixed Asset transactions, including capital spending and depreciation
· Accountable for control and adherence to corporate policies and GAAP for Fixed Assets and Capital Spending
SKILLS:
· Strong analytical & business acumen
· Strong systems skills, Essbase, Oracle, Legacy MRP
· Able to establish and recognize priorities - organized, self starter, ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

· MBA or Accounting Designation
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Supply Chain experience/knowledge
· Experience with Financial Planning or Budgeting
· Solid understanding of cost accounting, Financial systems, and Fixed Asset Policies
· Previous roles with experience interpreting data
· MBA preferred, Commerce degree
