At PepsiCo Foods Canada, the corporate planning team is focused on providing financial leadership to enable effective decision making and sustainable growth.
The Sr. Finance analyst position, which will report to the Sr. Manager - FP&A, will be responsible for providing analysis and insight to the organization on both the Frito Lay and Quaker businesses as well as managing FP&A requests from PAF and the Global groups.
Success in this role will require results-driven behavior, solid organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, technical strength and the ability work both independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze P&L Key Drivers (Net Sales, Volume, Cost & Productivity) - drive collaboration between finance functions to provide insights
- Proactively monitor trends and identifying business risk and opportunities
- Develop presentations for the senior executive team
- Support FLC Manager & Quaker Analyst with the Strategic Business Plan & Annual Operating Plan process
- Provide financial analysis and insight on productivity and efficiency initiatives
- Maintain (complex) Excel forecasting models and performance reporting tools
- Lead the completion of all PAF and Global requests (GNG, GSG and GNC teams)
- Support Finance and multifunctional teams on ad-hoc projects
Preferred Experiences, Skills and Abilities:
· University degree in Business; Accounting Designation / MBA an asset but not required.
· Exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are a key requirement
· Previous Essbase software experience an asset
· Experience in consumer products industry an asset
· Strong customer relations, interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong technical, problem solving, planning, and analytical skills
· Experience in analyzing or forecasting Profit and Loss results
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
