Accountabilities
· Leads the analysis and administration of corporate compensation programs, policies and procedures.
o Includes supporting the compensation/calibration/focal point/bonus cycle and on-going salary administration
· Assesses company's market competitive position, providing insights and recommendations to address significant gaps
o Participate in external salary surveys & analyze output. Recommends salary range structure, merit & equity adjustments
o Member of CPG Comp & Ben forums which facilities best practice sharing
· Conducts a broad range of research & statistical analysis for salaried and frontline
· Provides day to day support for HR team on compensation related matters
· Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Analysis
· Compensation administration as required - Bonus Tool support and administration
· Key initiatives as assigned
· Pay analysis and will support the field function
· Solid understanding of Market Pricing which includes Market position, Internal and External Equity, Job Evaluation, Survey Analysis, Job Pricing
· Master/Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management an asset
· Previous experience in Sales and or Operations an asset
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access required to track and manipulate data, report on statistical findings and identify efficiencies related to processing
· Solid understanding of compensation trends in the market; understanding of sales compensation an asset
· Working knowledge of economic impact on compensation (i.e. inflation rates etc.)
· Understanding of Provincial and Federal Employment legislation i.e. Pay Equity and Compensation
